Hello Beautiful Souls,I hope you are beautifully fit and healthy. Lets start today’s topic a little philosophically,”YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT”and my mind has one more”EAT FOR LIVING DON’T LIVE FOR EATING”.Whenever you put anything in your belly,make sure it’s going to benefit you and not harm.As the saying goes,you can drink poison like water,but that doesn’t mean you HAVE to drink it.So i believe I have made my point clear enough that we can proceed to the right ways of eating the right stuff.Let’s begin!!!
1.BREAKFAST LIKE KING LUNCH LIKE QUEEN DINNER LIKE BEGGAR
As we serve our body after a long 8-9 hour sleep, so it should be treated with royalty. So Eat something which is quite heavy to complement that foodless night.Also we require more carbohydrates in the morning. Lunch should be light and delicate like a queen as compared to the king size breakfast.Eat more Proteins, less carbs for the lunch.As far as dinner is concerned,try to be a beggar or a miser with less or almost no food. But make sure to eat something at night. You can drink a glass of milk.
2.PREPARE YOUR OWN FOOD.
Making/Doing anything ourselves makes us so much better than yesterday. So why not food? At least we know what we want to eat and we will cook accordingly.As now we know,Are we going to repeat or improve ourselves. We can be busy,artistic, innovative, impressive and above all healthy. So start make healthy delights and stop using those boring canned or packed foods and replace them with healthy and raw food.
3.DRINK FOOD LIKE WATER AND EAT WATER LIKE FOOD.
Although the statement explains itself, let me elaborate it a bit. Our body doesn’t have anymore teeth than the 32 in our mouth, so put them to use. If we are not chewing our food enough,it’s not going to digest and for it to get digested,our body will secrete more acidic fluids which can cause acidity,constipation,indigestion and so many more issues.
4. NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST.
As we break our fast after long 6-7 hours of sleep,so it is important to eat a healthy and wholesome breakfast which can pump in new energy in our body to make us active and ready for the day.It not only keeps us active but also builds a foundation for a stress free and beautiful day.
5.CUT SUGAR/SALT INTAKE.
Make a habit of drinking milk/tea/juice without extra sugar and salads without adding extra salt.Try to avoid canned juices/aerated drinks,they all contain hidden culprits like sugar.There are hidden fats/calories in our body which we need to burn, so don’t over pack them eating the junk.
6.REPLACE FATTY/COMFORTABLE FOODS WITH ORGANIC/HEALTHY ALTERNATIVES
I don’t know who devised the term”comfortable”for the junk food,although its tooooo uncomfortable to digest,break down and absorb by our body . We have completely forgotten about the “äctual”comfortable foods which are given for free by nature.we have so many fruits,vegetables around us . So stop eating chips, nachos, tortillas, mayonnaise,relish,heavy creams and the list goes on.
7.EAT IN SMALLER PLATES AND DRINK IN BIGGER GLASSES.
Studies have shown that people eating in smaller plates,preferably red tend to eat less.so, always take smaller portions which are comfortable to eat. Make sure to count your burps. First burp means yellow light means being slow with your bites and second burp means red light or full stop.Also enjoy every morsel instead of gulping it straight down drinking in bigger glasses mean you can hydrate your body more easily .
8.DRINK WATER 20 MINUTES AFTER FOOD.
Don’t drink water soon before/after food. Give it at least 20 minutes. Drinking water immediately after food dilute the gastric juices which are secreted to digest the eaten food.Drinking water with food means it’ll take more time to digest the food and that too not in a proper way.
9. EAT AT LEAST TWO HOURS BEFORE GOING TO BED.
Don’t sleep right away after eating food.Try to be active once you’ve eaten the food, specifically dinner.don’t be lazy and sit on the couch. Go for either brisk walking or do household work.Also try to eat a little early so that you can have enough time for your self before sweet dreams.
10.LOVE THE D-DAY (DETOXIFICATION-DAY)
Make a detoxification day in a week on which you can get rid of all your toxins and harmful chemicals.All you need to do is eat and drink everything natural. Make juices,eat salads,drink lots of water,make detoxifying green juice. Make yourself a diet plan.Give your body natural stuff in and out.
