A Treasure called “SHIRT”

SHIRT, it always sounds formal, business and what ideally suits blazers and pleated pants. But how to wear it everyday and that too in casual settings? Well It’s not that tough! A button up is an essential clothing item in every men’s and women’s business wardrobe. But keeping it only to formal occasions and boring office meetings is no less than a prejudice.

Therefore, I am sharing few of my favourite shirts and how I’d like to wear them on “not so formal” occasions.

An absolute essential!

Nothing can beat the magnificent combination of a white shirt and blue jeans. A match truly made in heaven !

Although any white shirt would fair well, but try a linen or cotton shirt for an added sophistication. You can be all tied up for a neat look or wear it to casual events by pairing it up with chunky earrings for a pop of color.

Another absolutely gorgeous shirt to keep in your wardrobe is a denim shirt. Although I prefer bright blue denim shirt but sometimes a sober color is perfect for a sunny day.

A little long denim shirt can also mimic an outerwear. Try it either with tights or jeans ; it is chic both ways. Hence pull out your basics and bring the style quotient up with a denim shirt.

Although this is for all those days when going an extra inch to dress well is completely out of question but don’t underestimate it. This a perfect and versatile accompaniment for a casual meeting or for a fun outing with friends.

Ah my all time favorite!

I have always had a deep affection for some kind of pattern or print in a basic white shirt. I wonder how the small snails or lillies or any abstract design in a shirt can make the difference. Any regular bottom wear can look graceful when paired up with a printed or floral shirt.
